Editorial principles

Paraphrase, not reproduce. We summarise normative text in our own words and cite the source. Standards are copyrighted — purchase official copies from the issuing body.
Vendor-neutral. No standard, no certification body, no consultancy is held up as "the right answer". Where the choice depends on context, we say so.
Industry-neutral defaults. When a guide applies to multiple industries, we default to a cross-industry framing and call out sector-specific deviations.
Editor bylines. Every article carries the editor's name. Articles are signed work, not anonymous content.
Sponsored content is labelled. Any sponsored placement carries a visible Sponsored badge. See disclosure policy.
Editorial firewall. Sponsors do not commission, review, or approve articles. Sponsorship buys placement, not editorial influence.

How we make money

Sponsored placements from auditors, training providers, certification bodies and tooling vendors. Capped at 3 active sponsors per category to limit dilution. Always disclosed.
Optional paid membership tier (Practitioner / Editor) for premium templates and quarterly benchmarks.
Affiliate links to training and tooling, where relevant. Disclosed inline.
Lead capture for free templates (double opt-in, GDPR-compliant) — the email list belongs to qms.best.

We do not run Google AdSense. We do not sell or rent the email list. Body content is licensed CC BY-SA 4.0: attribution required, share-alike on derivatives.

Who runs it

Articles are signed by their editor. The masthead is documented per-piece in the article footer. The site is operated as an independent, transferable content property — see transfer playbook for the full asset inventory.
